Superior Dog Academy is owned and operated by Barbara McClew of Somerset, New Jersey.
Barbara is a certified Dog Trainer. She received her certification from the Animal Behavior College.
and stays current in the latest techniques by attending continuing education
seminars/workshops.

Barbara also volunteers her time to
The Homeless Hearts Dog Rescue of Somerset County, the Somerset County 4-H Dog Club and the Schipperke Rescue.
She is a Mentor Trainer for Animal Behavior College Students and is currently a member of the following organizations:

Barbara has had a lifelong love of animals. For over 30 years she has owned and trained her own dogs. For many of those
years she has had a multi-dog household. Besides dogs, she has owned cats, horses, ducks, chickens and rabbits.
Over the years she has taught and helped her children care for hamsters, frogs, toads and newts in addition to the other
household animals.

Barbara is currently living in Somerset, New Jersey with her Husband, Bill and Children, Michelle, Jeanette and Billy,
5 dogs (4 Schipperkes and 1 Shepherd Mix), 2 cats and many tanks of tropical fish.
